Southern Hospitality with Romance and Charm
Stanton Hall and Longwood Plantation both Historic National Landmarks offer couples two unique venues to celebrate their special day. Stanton Hall, built in 1857 is a Greek Revival palatial mansion with Corinthian Columns that occupies an entire city block in the heart of downtown Natchez. The Carriage House Restaurant sits on the grounds of Stanton Hall and offers catering and additional reception venues. Longwood Plantation began construction in 1860 as an Oriental Villa, the dream of Dr. Haller and Julia Nutt. Today the largest octagonal home in the country remains largely unfinished due to rising tensions over the Civil War. Longwood provides a majestic venue that lends itself to ones imagination complete with southern romance and charm all in a picturesque setting.
